Valentine's Day Gift Guide
Curlicue gift wrap designs from left to right; Proud Hearts, Sweet Love and Hearts
Valentine’s day is a lovely excuse to show your other half how much they mean to you. But it’s also a great excuse to show your affection and appreciation to your friends and family. A little gift can go a long way to making someone feel loved, so here are a few ideas to inspire you.
The gift of relaxation
Everyone loves a good pampering session. Help your loved one relax and unwind with Weleda’s relaxing lavender bath milk. You can also choose some wonderful products from your loved one’s favourite scents (our personal favourite is the Wild Rose which smells divine!).
“Self-care has become more important than ever. Our loved ones sometimes need a reminder to take time for themselves so by giving a gift like our lavender bath milk, you’ll be encouraging your loved one to take the time to become revitalised and refreshed.” said Weleda Advisor and Lead Practitioner at The Holistic Hub London, Sharmila Hume. "We all need to take the time to calm the nervous system and bring the body and soul back into balance."
If you’d like Sharmila’s expertise about what to buy get in touch with her on email or buy directly from her Weleda shop here: https://www.weleda-advisor.co.uk/shop/sharmilahume/
Proud Hearts gift wrap
WRAP TIP: If you buy lots of smaller items, make a gift bag using a sheet of wrapping paper. Pop all the items in, secure with some of our plastic-free double sided sticky tape (find it here) or punch some holes in the top and secure with some twine (which you can find here) and voila! A beautiful bundle of luxurious Weleda products. See the tutorial here.
The gift of culture (and time together)
The National Art Pass is the gift that keeps on giving. For a yearly membership, you can enjoy free entry to hundreds of museums, galleries and historic houses across the UK as well as 50% off major exhibitions.
The best bit is that you can get a double membership to enjoy exploring the hottest heritage spots together or add a plus one option to the membership so that your love can take you along or a friend depending on which museum they want to go to.

Membership also gives back, helping Art Fund to support hundreds of museums and galleries, big and small, across the UK.
A wonderful way to spend time together learning, exploring and connecting to each other, while supporting the UK’s cultural and heritage scene.

The gift of joyful experiences
After two years of being unable to go on an adventure, an experience is a great gift. Finding an activity to do together is the ideal way to shake up the routine and reconnect.
But choosing that activity can be a bit tricky… and you definitely don’t want to choose something that your loved one might not want to do! We asked experience and travel team Emily & Dav from Not Just Travel for their expertise:
“There are some fantastic experience gifts out there” said Dav. “Take a twist on the traditional voucher and get an experience day voucher and choose from 50 activities to make special memories. From a gin tasting for two, a novelty dining experience or even swimming with crocodiles, the choice is almost endless.”
Or perhaps you want a more luxurious experience and have a few nights away with lots of different activities included? Emily & Dav can help with that as well. Get in touch with them via email to find the perfect experiential gift.

WRAP TIP: Want to make opening this gift as exciting as the gift itself? Use wrapping paper and plastic-free double sided sticky tape to make an envelope and pop in a hand written note revealing all the details.
The gift of artwork
Original works of art and prints make incredible gifts. You can find great prints on Etsy or find an artist whose style you love. The latter is our favourite way of buying artwork because you can build a collection over time.
Our founder Hema adores Artist Philly’s work (so much so that we have collaborated with Philly on our Savannah and Hummingbird prints!). Philly sells artwork via her website which you can see here. [please note Artist Philly's shop is closed until 7th February]
WRAP TIP: Use one of Philly’s wrap designs, Savannah or Hummingbirds, for the artwork by Philly – and if you have more gifts, pair it with our Proud Hearts gift wrap for a match made in heaven!
Whatever you choose to give your love, the most important thing to remember about Valentine’s Day is that it’s all about love. Whether your gifts are bought or made, giving a gift that shows how well you know your love and taking the time to wrap it with care for them and the planet says it all.
